About
In 1973, Lou Harris opened the doors of her interior design company in Martinsville, Virginia. After several years of growth, she set up shop in a retail location, which allowed her ample space for offices, a conference room, resource library, and showroom. She specializes in both commercial and residential design, and offers full designer services, from consultation and drafting, to custom-created window coverings and furniture. Over the years, Lou has had opportunities to work coast to coast, from an idyllic Virginia home on the national historic register, to a contemporary dwelling in California's Sonoma wine country. Her design legacy spans from the peaceful North Carolina mountains to the sunny climes of West Palm Beach and Naples, Florida. Other project locations also include Kennebunkport, Maine; New York City and Long Island; Bethesda, Maryland; Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia; Phoenix, Arizona; and Park City and St. George, Utah.
